I know a guy here that has used the type 1 and I've also had type 1s on a tsx. They're smooth. I have Megan racing on my 250 and have no complaints

I haven't ran F&F on my IS, But from Personal Experience i did have F&F type1 on my TSX before they are smooth but when lowered enough the ride feels too bouncy for that sort of drop as you dont have damper adjustments on Type1's, now on Type2's you do have damper adjustments which makes them a better setup for your car. If you can get them to upgrade the spring from 10kF, 8kR. To 14kF, 10kR makes your ride a whole lot better, IMO.

not sure how much you're getting the f&f's for but have you taken a look at kw's? looks like it's a little more than the f&f's brand new but they are absolutely amazing.

I seen them for $712.00 but I also seen Megan Ez for the same price I just want to slam it and it not ride like complete crap lol I seen one guy on here who had them on his is250 but was seeing if anyone else has use them. He said they ride amazing but always good to asking around

They have 32 adjustable and Megan has 15
I also seen some d2 but don't know much about them... I see a lot of people using Megan and Bc
