I was able to squeeze 38,000 miles out of the V12. As expected the FK-453 is a smoother ride and quieter, but I would expect that out of any new tire vs a tire with 38,000 miles. I will come back and update as time goes on.

You answered my question on mileage as I just put the V12's on my wifes IS250, thank you.

I'm about to order a set of the newer evo2, does anyone think this is a bad idea as opposed to ordering the original v12 K110?

Hankook V12 is great, their new EVO 2 is very similar. Keep that in mind as the V12 EVO is discontinued.

Continental DW is a great choice as well.

I've had V12 on for few months now. Good tires at decent price. Sidewall is a little soft though.

on my 3rd set of V12;s and love them, great tire for the price. but do get harsh at the end of tread wear, Havent tried the Falkens but have heard that they are not as quiet. about 35k miles out of them if you dont' drive it like you stole it. as they are soft like previousely mentioned.

Your still around? Does your car still look like it was? Always loved your car. (Sorry off topic).

I liked my Hancook V12's but my camber was crazy so in not one to comment on that.

I have not tried Falcon one yet so I can only comment on how good the Hankook v12 is.

The Hankook handles and grips so well. I run them on autocross and they provide excellent traction and grip. The steering feel is very accurate, direct and predictable. I had so much fun doing powerslide/drift the **** out of my IS350 on autocross with traction control off See picture below of the tires after few autocross runs.

It is very comfortable and quiet for daily driving as well.

Just lurking around from time to time, i sold the car long time ago.

I couldn't get the size I want for the Hankook V12's, so leaning towards FK453.

I actually just installed some new Falken 453's on my front wheels this week and I can say I'm pretty happy with them. Ride is smooth as heck and quiet too. I previously had 452's and I can notice the difference in quality. Plus each tire was only $140 for 19s so it was a bargain. Only thing is that the thread design isn't as nice as the 452's but no biggie.

Any update on FK-453? I'm about to get a set. Curently I have Conti Extreme Contact DW's the ride quality is excellent compare to other tires, but with the time they get vary noise!!!

Recently put in the v12 hankook tires on my 19" rims. Even with 225/35 front and 245/35 rear. It's quite comfortable and only a bit more noticeably more rough than stock wheels. They make a bit of squeaks here and there but I think it is because they're new. Overall, I like them and would recommend them.

I had v12 on my '08 IS350 255/30/19 and 295/30/19 there are very good tires and walls not as fat as other tires so I think at the moment u can only fit this tires at that size, but Conti DW's are more comfortable. I'm still want to know if FK453 as good as Conti DW or not. ANY ONE?
