hey guys I'm planning to vinyl wrap my car this week and I have some key marks on my car... (pretty deep key marks) should I sand it down before wrapping it? Any suggestions of what kinda sand grit paper should i use? any advice would be great !

I can't really say what grit, I'd guess very fine around the 1k area, and maybe go from there. Would really suggest some good wax and/or clear after sanding and before wrapping as well.

for the deeper key marks I've tried 600 and 800 but I think I should be using 400-500? why do I have to use wax and clear before vinyl wrapping?
