Hey everyone. New member here and new to the IS, but not to Lexus. Family has been driving them for many years. Looking to get a used Lexus IS 250 or 350 under $18,000. I have found a few through autotrader and I was hoping you guys could look over these and maybe tell me which one may be a better car to try and buy. Of course, these are all asking prices and just how low I can get the price is unknown, but maybe you guys can help me there too. A few things to keep in mind is that I really want the navigation which is why most will have them and I also really like the premium 5 spoke wheels (I think that's what they are called) like in the first link below. I also really want white or black, maybe grey or red. Don't really like any of the other colors.

I would go with the second one. Black is always a timeless look, It has the nav and the wheels that you want. I didn't think I wanted the extra horsepower when I bought my 250 but I have regretted it everyday I have had it. Go with the 350.

I'd go with #3 the 2008 IS 250. First of all it has the least amount of miles, and it also has the same rims as the IS 350. Who cares if it doesn't have the Navi, any smartphone can easily replace that. #1 is also nice but you will regret getting the white carpet, and the seats look like they aren't in good shape. If you like slamming your cars I wouldn't go with #4 and #5 because of AWD. My overall advice to you is #3

There is no doubt that you should go with Is350 IMO. I have the same story as DaMitsuMan only that I was looking for IS350 and couldn;t find anything with the miles I wanted in my area so I jumped on a IS250. I made a great deal but I'm crying for extra power everyday.

#2 because of the price... it has 100 extra hp, navi, has your rims, and its black.

Plus they're less prone to problems than the is250

i got her in june 6 2006 and she has only felt my touch lol except for that smog guy in the picture, this was her very first only smog last june.

I'd personally get the 350. Miles and price are almost identical but you get more horsepower and no carbon buildup issues. You won't regret it.

I vote 350 cause on those night you just want to get on it and enjoy the drive. But at the end of the day it's your happiness so pick what you want.

Number two get the 350. Less problems no carb build up on the motor and black is hit
