Hey CL, tired of my stock rims, so I am looking to purchase new wheels. My friend is also getting new wheels and he wants to sell me his like new XXR 530's. What would you guys think about a black IS with gold XXR's? Ghetto? Clean? Also what are your opinions on black cars with gold rims in general? Thanks!!!

I think white cars wear gold rims the best. Personally, I like light colored rims with dark cars, to give them contrast. It also depends on the styling of the car too.

Don, I think thats the lamp post behind the car that creates the vase illusion. Pretty funny though, I was too busy looking at the rims to even notice that one.

If you can get a good deal, I'd say go for it. I'm all for wild colors so this wouldn't be my personal choice, but you gotta start somewhere.

I've always thought gold wheels looked best on white cars.
Black second best.
