Default Best front lip for winter driving?
I have a 09 is250 and really wanna get a front lip. Do you think any front lip will last in the ny winter? Or should I not even bother

Probably the gfx lip. Its subtle doesnt hang low u should be ok unless ure literally out there plowing snow w ur car. I destroyed the lip on my last car twice during the winter here. This wibter im huying a winter bumper to get me through.

I live in the north east 3 yrs with my front lip plowing snow and yet to break. What to worry about unless you crash hard.

it was on my 2007
ignore the damage on the bumper itself, that happened when the car was sandwiched which totaled the car
but as for the lip that happened 3 weeks prior I was driving less than 40 mph in 2 inches of snow and didnt even know it happened til I got home.My car is only dropped 1.25
JP Vizage rep from Bayson R, the winter before I damaged it further on the driverside and refiberglassed it

I've been running my GFX front lip in NY/NJ for about 2 years. My car is dropped 2 inches from stock AWD and it is doable in the winter.

Ouch, that's no good I'm glad I took my vizage lip off... Was tired of having to angle out of drive ways. And the fact is hat the vizage kit is very low. From what I'm seen, it it the lowest (from the ground to bottom surface) out of all he available kits there. I was scraping hard and I am only on stock height.

I would say the gfx is your best bet but its expensive for a very subtle front lip IMO

My suggestion would be to use polyurethane over fibreglass.
