Default Help installing Volt HID Fog Light Kit?

Recently bought the Volt kit to install on my car. Tried to start the install on the passenger side, using PhilipMSPT 's post here: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...tallation.html

For the life of me, I can't figure out how to get to the passenger side bulb! It almost looks like the whole fender lining has to come off when I got under the car, and I told myself, it can't be this hard.

Can someone who's changed out their fog lights with the Volt HID fog light kit give me some tips on how to do the install?

I used this link in DIY section:
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...-bulb-diy.html

It takes a bit force to bend the fender lining.

I just installed the Xtreme kit into my fog lights this morning. It was really easy since I took off my bumper... Install took less than an hour.

Just turn your front wheels all the way to the left or the right and you can install the fogs by removing the 2 tabs and pulling the fender liner back. It should only take about 15-20 minutes to do.

That works for changing the bulbs, but the problem is that the Volt Fog light kit has ballasts that have to be secured. I don't think that approach will work?

It will work but its going to be a tight fit trying to git the ballasts in there. Thats why removing the bumper is the more efficient way, but it takes a little longer

Yeah I had my ballasts taped on to the back of the bumper reinforcement, so no cluster or anything

Also redid my lowbeams with the headlight removed, made everything 10x easier since I have big hands, and it's a PITA to do driver side (even with the washer fluid tube out)
But for the record, only removed the headlight to change out the egg yolks to chrome bulbs, else I would've just redo the lowbeams from engine bay again
