Default Question regarding replacing my front bumper cover.

So long story EXTREMELY short I need a new front bumper for my 06 IS250. Would a 2010-2012 front bumper fit? Or would it be more of a hassle to get some things to bolt up?

Yes, it'll fit. You will need a new grille/fogs/etc though... Look over on is.sewellparts.com. They sell it in a kit with everything you need.

Grille, fogs and that's all I can think of. What would be considered the etc? I was looking on sewell and like the 2011-2013 front end. 2006 fogs will not fit in the 2011-2013 front bumper I think I knew that it was going to be a new bumper and grille but thought my fogs would fit.

Another option is the Option Racing IS F front end. They're a vendor on here and think they sell it on eBay. It's about $500 for Everything!

I have thought about doing that. I'm thinking more about when I try and resell the car in 6-12 months. I wanted the car to look clean. And I'm too much of "things gotta match person". If I did the front bumper I would then want the rear bumper and sides and the whole thing. I have a week to decide and figure out. I just wanted to get some options.

If you are going to resell the car within the year, your best bet is affixing a factory bumper for the model year. Easiest sales are for stock cars with OE or OE-equivalent parts. Just my $.02.

Club300 is in the process of putting a 2012 f sport bumper on his and he saved money piecing his parts together vs the sewell kit http://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-s...onversion.html

Thanks for everyone's help on this. Just Didnt know the worth or est. cost on upgrading. Think I do like the 2012 F Sport front. But we will see if I'm given the choice to take cash or if I have to chose to get it fixed.
