Aftermarket Sub Install
I have a 2011 Lexus IS350 and like my stock deck but I want to intergrate my JL W6v3 sub and JL 300/2v2 amp. I would like to know what is the best way to set up and intergrate my aftermarket sub and amp into the stock deck to produce the best sound. Also how do I tell if I have the Mark Levinson system?

There are tons and tons of threads on this in 2nd Gen. Search key words like sub, amp, stereo, integration, JL Audio, etc. You will find what you're looking for much faster by doing that than by posting a new thread and waiting for members to reply.

With my amp and sub install:
Ran a power cable from the battery to the boot
got a good earth connection
used a high to low converter and tapped that into the stock amp which is in the boot and that will go to the RCA to your new amp
disconnected and removed the old sub (you don't have to remove it but I just did it)
And that's about it. Hook it all up neat and clean and you should have it working

You can view my install thread from my page but I had already done the OE integration. The purpose of my thread was searching for a decent dash kit and I ended up making my own from scratch and bypassing the factory HU and amp. Hope this helps.
