No heat, just used some screws to hold in place.

I ended up molding mine since the fitment before mold was a 6/10.

Honestly guys I really thought I liked the diffuser look on our cars but after seeing one out in a parking lot one day, in the same color as my car (tungsten pearl), I honestly thought it looked real bad. And not in a good way either. I feel that if you have the diffuser you must have the Wald wing (molded) and some aggressive wheels and stance to go with it. Otherwise it looks kinda tacky.... Anyway just thought I'd share my opinion on that. No offense intended to anyone that has gone about this route.

I like how you painted it but I also like this one a lot too and I can't decide how I'm gonna do it. I have a 2012 white as well

On the top section you would have to use double sided tape. 4 screws go on the bottom to secure it
