Installed mine and I agree they are WAY brighter than the 5 LED Vleds I had before. I definitely recommend.
Heres a pic with the old leds on the left(passenger) and the new flank leds on the right.
Big difference.

I bought some crappy SMD LEDs from Amazon for $5 and, honestly... they might be dimmer than the OEM bulbs... and they have a slight blue hue. >.>
BUT after seeing your post, I'M SOLD!! I've gone ahead and bought myself two vleds Thansk for the pics!

Finally got these in the mail today! I bought two.. thinking that each order was one bulb. Now i have 4 bulbs! haha
Anyway, when installing I noticed that only two LEDs turn on. I think the vleds are designed this way so they can be bi-directional. Is there a way to get all four of them to light up?
Oh yeah... if anyone does this mod, be careful putting your mirror back on. I just shattered one of mine by pressing too hard. >.< I think if you use both thumbs to spread out the area of force, the mirror wont shatter.

It's really not that bad, I've taken apart my mirror completely two times now. Just be careful with the glass, it helps to have another set of eyes to see how the clips line up, and use a credit card to separate the mirror, anything thicker will damage it. Good luck, if you run into any snags pm me and I might be able to help you out .
