Default Replaced the halogen bulb with LED

Hello CL,

I have an 06 IS350 that comes with stock halogen headlight, i have been wanting to get rid of the halogen for the longest time. However, I don't like the idea of aftermarket HIDs because of the ballast and installation issues. I recently saw a thread about LED headlights and decided to give it a try. The installation was very easy as you are changing the headlight bulb. I'm really happy with the outcome as it enhances the look of the car and the visibility at night. They look like OEM HID from the outside. I purchased them through automationLED.

^^^ Nice! I too have an 06 IS350, and my headlights are very dim. I believe they are stock also (altho the daytime running lights look to have been upgraded to a "blue" bulb). I like the brightness of your LEDs, looks much better. Thanks for the pics, I'm checking into these replacements.

I just installed these LED bulbs in my FRS. Looks great and same if not slightly more light output, so win win. These are pretty efficient with 22W power draw so it's easier on the electronics.

That looks pretty good! I'm curious about these, since the wattage is lower, is the light output less? How is the visibility compared to halogen and HID?

^^ yeah that's the kit that i got. the visibility is better halogen, but not as bright as HIDs. I am very happy with this kit because ballast is not required and install was easy.

i emailed asking about the fan's and they say only the h4 and h7 kits come with a fan, the h11 h7 9005 and 9006 kits have a heat sink built into the buld and do not require the fan
