Default installing OEM rear trunk spoiler......

i heard you have to drill holes to install it, can it be installed without having to drill holes?????

You can just use double sided tape, but that is a little scary for me at least.

pull the studs out or cut em off and use the supplied double side tape. its the strongest double side tape ive EVER seen.

Yeah you could use double sided tape but I always think some *** is going to try to rip it off...lol

i would rather take the chance taping it and someone stealing it than driling holes in my trunk

Same goes for me, where I live the chances of someone stealing your spoiler is zero to none anyways!

i used a rubber cement kinda glue. if i ever want to take it off, just need a heat gun and the spoiler will come right off. and i have the satisfaction of knowing the spoiler wont be going anywhere, even if someone tried to pull it off.

i just got an oem spoiler but its hollow on the inside sooo i dont know how the hell im gonna tape it with double sided tape...

Epoxy or a type of "Liquid Nails" glue.

I just bought one from Sewell with the a Lexus Gift card, $170ish I believe and $10 shipping. I'm debating on getting this installed at a shop, or just doing the double sided tape too. I was curious what a dealership would charge and it was $405 for 3 hours of work.

Just had mine installed at Lexus. Cost $120. Was worth it to me. They said it had 4 bolt holes.
