Most car buyers don't do the research and have all the info we get exposed to. A lot of people will walk into a dealer and pay more than we would for a 2013. You will probably be able to save hundreds, but not thousands from today's levels. A5 is a stunning coupe. If you will part with it before the warranty ends go for it. Audi's can cost a fortune in repairs.

I hear ya...that is what I'm worried about.

I'm hoping the IS coupe is close to looking as nice an A5....let's see what Lexus has up it's sleeve.

I say go ahead and get it. The new IS looks great but if you want an F-sport its going to be at least 45K+. Look at history, yes it is a Lexus, but any new product has the POTENTIAL for issues.
The 2g IS is super sexy and you wont regret it. Maybe I am biased bc I just got a 2012 with 9k miles for 35k. Im happy

^I'm too late...they were sold over the weekend.

reasons why I did not want to pay 41k plus TTL for a 2013:

1. I felt I would have been ripped off for buying the old model
2. I had one before and one of my gripes was the Auto tranny...although fast shifting from a stop, I didn't enjoy it being a full auto with very little control/slow response to input.
3. I didn't want to regret waiting for the 2014 model
4. I may leave Lexus and get an A5 with a true 6spd manual.
