windows going down by themselves?!?!?! help!
Im having problems with my windows going down. As I roll the windows up, towards the top they start to slow down and it just drops down to 3/4ths of the way. Any thoughts on what could cause his? Ive been told there are pinch sensors behind the door that are calibrated to do this.
Any input on how to repair this? Im mechanical and dont mind popping the door panel off.
Thanks

Thats your jam protection kicking in. I would check the molding on both sides of the window glass to see if their is an obstruction. I've seen the black weatherstripping/ window seal stuff get pinched, thus narrowing the channel the window slides in, and it stopped it from completing its roll up cycle. The problem is usually located from the base of the window upwards, so i doubt you should have to remove the door panel.
