sweet thanks for the info guys this really helps, ive been looking into that bright yellow for a long time and can never get the look ive seen on other cars. hopefuilly either the yellow LEDs or the yellow halogen bulb gives me what i have been looking for.

if you put a yellow overlay on the fog light housing it should help make it more yellow.

by the way i just installed 4300k hid fogs from zenondepot.com (vendor here) to match oem bulbs, and its as close of a match it can get. very happy

I guess it just depends on which vendor you go with but i've seen "3k" kits that look yellow, some amber, and like mine, green.

I've also seen numerous yellow halogen bulbs that give out that deep amber look your looking for.

If your 3K HID kits look green, then your bulbs are defective.

Is this the yellow color that you guys are looking for?

If u are looking for more functional fog lights, I recommend HID.

If u are looking for looks only. LED is fine.

I would go more HID since IS has poor projector and the light output is not great. With the help of HID foglight, you can see the road much better. HID 4300K kit should match up the stock low beam well

There is a thread on how to install foglight bulbs (or HID) without removing the bumper. Just bend the fender cover and you can reach the foglight connectors.

Yes this is exactly what I'm looking for. That bright yellow is what I have been searching for

So what is the difference between a 3000k and a 4300k? Is that still amber?

3000K = yellow

4300k = warm white

Warm white = a bit whiter than stock (4100k), no blue at all
