hi my is250's dash has been damaged by sun, its so sensitive..the only way would be to get a new one and that cost too much.
is there a cover that its not made out of cloth or suede? or another alternative?

There are companies that make custom molded plastic dash overlays which look way better than the old school carpet dash covers. I searched a few sits and was unable to find anyone that offered anything for a Lexus though......

what year model is your car. i have 06 is350 with 118K and got lexus corporate to replace my melted dash. Mine was not even that bad but it drove me insane. ended up paying $210 and the rest was covered. if i were you i would try that route.

not sure if it is possible to cover with Vinyl? The curves are hard to do.

An upholstery shop will have to custom shape the dashboard cover. A generic dash cover might not cover all areas well, but there are some available. I had one made when I bought my car just to add an extra layer of protection from the sun, made of velour I believe. That and a slight tint of the windshield help block more of the sun.
