That's insane right!? I just hope I don't have anymore problems with it while I still have it

Hmm... i think german cars are more for a show off. But honestly, my first option to consider was 328i :\
Although my dream car is a CLS63 though. lol

Drove a 06 c350 before my IS, missed the comfort and power compared to my IS , but definitely do not miss the trips to the dealer, and i can finally get a peace of mind driving the IS without worrying what else will go wrong

i had an 06 335 coupe before my is250..is250 is somewhat of a downgrade as far as im concerned cause it's such a boring car

handling isnt the greatest, even with an aftermarket suspension. my 335s stock handling would feel so much better than my is250 on buddyclubs coils

power wise, not even going to compare an is250 to a 335 but the is350 is another story

i drove my 335 for 2 years for free. norman taylor FTW (google him if you dno him) i'd do it again if i could

I absolutely love the way the BMW 3xx drives. They are fun to take on the road and it was the only car that I was thinking about when it came time to look for a new car. Reliability was my biggest priority though and based on the track record of my 2 previous Lexus vehicles, I had to choose another Lexus. My cars have never given me any problems and I loved the styling and size of the IS.

I had three mercedes before my gs450h but wanted a hybrid which MB didn't offer. I love the lexus and the lexus service which is excellent at my dealer!

That's because the 335i has a specific buyer in mind. The suspension is factory-tuned for a driver. The IS250 is more of a car that is meant to appeal to a wider demographic, which is I assume is part of the reason why it doesn't handle as well as the 335i stock for stock. That being said, if you took a stock 250/350 and added the F-Sport suspension package (springs, shocks, front and rear sways), it would probably handle just as well, if not better, than the 335i. And it would still end up costing a lot less in the end

Shocks/springs/coilovers are always a great upgrade to suspension, but in order to make the most of it, you need the upgraded sway bars to keep everything tight.

sway bars are my next mod. i'll tell you then

even my girls 328 4door would feel like its gripping the road..is250 is just too wobbly. i had to drop it the first day i got the car cause i miss the 335's grip too much

Same as most people here, the BMW 3 series and the Mercs. I do not like Infinity. But the fear of high maintenance costs of used german cars with over 70K miles kept me away (plus I didn't like the interior of the Beemers). I had always liked Toyota and always wanted a Lexus. Almost bought an is250 but when test driving I was disappointed by the lack of power. Found a nice IS350 and rest is history.

Since I was shopping used the quality of the build was important. Focused a lot on the MB C-Class and the IS250. In the end the reliability of Toyota and quality of the interior (I spend a lot of time commuting) won me over. Love this car.

We test drove the BMW 3 series, Volvo S-60, Mercedes C300. When my Wife test drove the 2012 Matador red IS-250-awd she said this is the one. I was overjoyed since the Lexus was thousands less than the other Lux brands. I also love my 2012 RX-350.

The BMW run flats made the ride bumpy, the S-60 was like our old Camry, the Mercedes was alsio a hard ride.
