Default IS250 Battery Dies easily?

Earlier today my battery died while I was waiting to pick up my wife from work. I was sitting in the car for about 15 minutes listening to music but by the time she got out the car wouldn't start up. The cluster and push-to-start button would just keep flashing but the engine wouldn't start.
I had to call a buddy to jump start my car back. This has happened a few times in the past few months and I've already changed my battery 4 months ago.

Anyone know what could be wrong?

EDIT

I went to Pepboys the other day and they said the battery and alternator is fine. From 1/4/13 to now the battery has died 3 times, my IS just sits at home because I dont want it to be stuck anywhere and always have to ask someone to jump start it
Anyone have any other ideas? Could I be cuz I changed my interior lights to LED or my most recent change of 38SMD reverse lights?

how old is your battery? My battery died quickly too when it was approaching the end of its life, which is around 5 years

Agreed. Alternator sounds about right. Especially because you JUST changed the battery.

stay away from dealer unless its warranty. independent mechanic will prob. 500-800, dealer i would guess 1000+.

have alternator tested first , may not be bad.

Did you have your seat ventilators or seat warmers running in addition to the radio? I suspect they draw a fair amount of power. I always make sure to turn off the seat ventilator if I am going to listen to the radio with the engine not running.

Get a proper diagnosis first, you don't want replace anything until you are 100% sure...

If you go to Autozone, I believe most of them still offer free alternator/charging system testing. Call ahead and see if the one(s) around you do.

X2. I took my battery there to test it out of their machine but I didn't. I knew its about time for a new battery since it was 5 years old

Woah now that I think about it, I do remember one day after it happened that the passenger seat warmer was randomly on... I'm guessing that was the problem cuz it hasn't happened ever since. Thanks for everyones help!

Even so--for 15 mins on a 4 month old battery? That shouldn't kill it.

Def alternator not recharging/holding charge. Sometimes though, 15Mins of car off and radio on is enough to kill the battery. Did they put the right size battery in, just because they are professionals, they are still workers and could have possibly thrown in a under-sized battery.
