Smile Little hole on rear bumper

So there is a little hole on the left side of my rear bumper. I purchased it like this from the original owner. It didn't really bother me at the time because I got a sweet deal on the car. Every time I look at it now, it bothers me more and more. The dealership told me that I would have to replace the entire bumper since it pierced through. Do I really have to replace the whole bumper because of this one tiny whole or can it be salvaged? I'm fairly new to this forum so any help from other members would be greatly appreciated. I tried searching for similar topics throughout the forum but couldn't find anything. If it can be fixed, any recommendations? Thanks and Merry Christmas!

That isn't little, you have to fuse/glue that plastic back together, sand and paint. Sometimes buying a new cover is cheaper than labor depending on the shop

It can be fixed, but if not fixed correctly it will ghost back on ya. I like to plastic weld them, then go over them with epoxy urethane.

Lexus quoted me around $1200 to replace the bumper. That included paint and touch ups on door dings, chips, and other major scratches. I'll have to get a few quotes from some reputable shops in the SD area to see which option is better.

If you log into Sewell with your CL username, you can get a new, pre-painted, OEM bumper for around $545.

I would personally just get a new bumper because I doubt anyone can patch and repaint for much cheaper than sewells new bumper price

If you were local, I would have that fixed for $350, and blend into your original paint so no chance of paint mismatch. it is not really hard to fix. BTW it is a crack not a hole.

Check out this job I did a little while back. Started Friday Evening, finish by Saturday Afternoon and took care of all the chips.

my friend said $350 to fix yesterday. Remember, whatever you do, get as much info as you can to avoid any over paying like dealership. Don't go there.
