I found an IS350 cluster with the 11+ silver rings for my 2010 IS250. My question is the cluster has the AFS headlights indicator in the cluster. Will it be always on? My IS has halogen headlights.

No, the cluster will only show AFS indications if the vehicle is equipped with AFS.

You can just take the inner shroud off the 11+ cluster and put it in your cluster. That's what I did.

I would have to disassemble from the back and work my way forward to do this?

If not did you just remove the lens?

This was my original thought of doing it just swap the shroud, but never got a definitive answer. On another post.

IIRC you just take the lens off the front to do it. A few screws around the edge to remove the lens, then a couple more to remove the shroud. There is a little gray piece of plastic under the shroud just above the odometer on the pre 2011 clusters that the post 2011 ones do not have. You'll have to remove this little piece (it just pulls off really easily). I kept the extra cluster for parts just in case any of my needle LEDs ever go out.

The milage is different because I didn't take a before photo...
