Default those of you with ISF tails...

I installed the ISF outer tails on my car, and to keep the clear part actually clear I was running a clear bulb. Only problem is that I could get a ticket for not having an amber colored turn signal, so I had to put amber bulbs in. Now you can see the amber color through the clear, and it is pretty much defeating the whole idea of the clear tails.

What bulbs are you using to get rid of the egg yolk look? I have heard of someone using bulbs that are amber in color when on and have a chrome look to them when off. If someone could point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance...

I am also running some 7440 stealth bulbs from stealth auto. They are chrome and project a bright amber when activated.

Contact stealth auto, they have great customer service.

They are bright, but not BLINDING bright ... You DO want people to notice you!

LED > Chrome bulbs

Yes you will get get the hyper-blink. You can either:

1) Modify your OEM flasher (FREE)
2) Buy a aftermarket flasher from VLEDs

I modified my OEM flasher ....

Those are IS F outer tail lights. They come clear.
I'm running chrome bulbs too. They work fine and you don't blink all the time.
