More info on TRD exhaust
Since getting tuned I've been looking for an exhaust. I found a TRD one for sale at what seems like a good price. Is it just an Fsport? They look identical or is this made my HKS like I've read on some other posts. Lastly if anyone has or knows where I can get a sound clip that would be awesome.

Try hitting up youtube for soundclips. Looks like an fsport exhaust judging by the welds on the canisters.

I agree it looks like an F sport exhaust. I'm pretty sure that's basically all it is. Which if it is, it should sound pretty good judging from what I've heard in person. Are you looking for a catback or axleback? I originally bought a Tsudo axleback exhaust for mine because it was cheap in comparison to the other exhaust most owners use and had good quality to it. I since followed up with adding a Megan midpipe which sounded great IMO. Nice and deep and loud enough without getting crazy. I paid about $340 for the Tsudo and about $350 for a used Megan I got off a member. Well worth the money for an exhaust, it completely changed the cars character. Especially for you since your tuned with that awesome 7400rpm rev limit lol.
Can't wait for my tune to come in, so I can let my new true dual exhaust really breath Good luck with your purchase!

That's the 1st gen F-Sport exhaust without Engravement on the side tips. I own one before and the 1st & 2nd gen makes no difference. No question about it. Whats more surpising is that your calling it a TRD lol.
Yes, i heard that it was manufactured by HKS when the sportline fsport was not introduced yet.
If your still skeptical about it. Tell whoever selling to show the Number prints directly on the Y pipes.
This exhaust no matter what others say about different exhaust type out there. Its by far the best in quality. Its perfectly design for our model. I truely believe the price is well worth of $1,400 in retail but to make it much better is a Mid-Pipe combo.

It technically is a TRD product, regardless of who manufactured it (HKS).
