I ordered some morimoto 5000k bulbs as I had the same issue as you ... they have a good lumen output according to the retrofit source....

The other, more pricer option, is Philips ... they make OEM bulbs as well as aftermarket "Ultinon" series bulbs...

I know certain retailers also sell their own brand of HID bulbs as well...

Philips Ultinon bulbs are some of the best, but are also pretty pricy. Around ~$260 for a set.

A lot of members on here use Garax. but Ive heard that its a hit or miss with them. I have heard good things about those Morimoto bulbs tho

Garax 6k from Mod-Express (vendor here on CL)

http://www.mod-express.com/product_p/garax-d4.htm

They are quick shipping and I'm super satisfied with the customer service. Here is a pic of my 6K from them, and my 3K fog kit. As you can see my fog kit is throwing out a green beam, so Rob at mod-express helped me out and didn't bother me having to take the car apart and send him back his defective equipment, instead he sent me a new ballast completely free (one year hassle free warranty)

exiakira: I would suggest swapping your bulbs left to right to see if the bulb is the culprit before spending any money as you want to make sure the problem is the bulb and not the ballast.

Here is a year old thread about the XenonDepot D4S bulbs if you are interested:

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/lig...ount-code.html

This particular member reviewed the 5000k color temperature as he wanted to get a little more color out of his stock bulbs but still maintain a lot of useable light output.

Coupon code CLGB08 upon checkout gets you a $20 discount per bulb.

I just installed KBcarstuff D4S, 5000K bulbs and they look great! Bright, great light, and look good in my car. Price is right and fast shipping.

Now, if aiming the headlights were that easy! It is easy but mine took a while to get straightened out.
