Default anyone heard of this TSB for rough idle?

while i was at the dealer yesterday for oil change, i bought up the intermittent rough idle i've experienced at stop lights. the service advisor told me there's a TSB out there for this, and i should be expecting a letter from Lexus for this fix. anyone heard about this?

The carbon buildup issue doesnt apply to 350s because only the 250s use direct injection. The 350s use both DI and port injection (I think). I may have mixed them up, someone please correct me if Im wrong

so in short, there's no such TSB out there for the 350? it could be my service adviser mistakenly thought my car was 250 then.

My 350 certainly has a rough idle every now and then. It's currently at 25k. I created a thread on this.. a few has the same issue. Will check when I bring my car in for service Thursday.

As of right now there is only a TSB out for the 250.

Call up that service advisor and ask for details surrounding that TSIB. Maybe something new?

Here's the thread about the CSP program that covers many IS250's for 9 years/unlimited miles:
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...ld-up-csp.html

And like the others said, the IS350 isn't included because it doesn't have that same direct injection. Any motor can get carbon build up though.

i posted about this earlier today in a thread labled "check vsc". i had this same rought idle problem and i took it to the dealership and there was a tsb on the is350 also. the service manager told me its not near as much of a problem with the is 350's but it does happen. i had the valve spring recall about a year prior to the rough idle problem and when i first noticed it around 55k i took it in and they fixed it all. i cant recall exactly what all was replaced but i will look at my invoice later, i know it was extensive though. i may be wrong but i want to say they just swapped out the heads.

^WOW, new heads? YES, you need to find your paperwork or do a VIN service history search on Lexus.com.

I'm interested as well. I did bring my car in for service. They weren't able to duplicate problems, nor were there codes.

Anyway, they checked for any active TSBs but nothing. So I'm curious what you aree talking about.
