Default 3 Day Old FORGESTAR wheel BENT!

had these on for 3 days, today noticed one was bent. i never hit any big pot holes either
i will contact the vendor / forgestar to see if anything can be done but i have a feeling they will put blame on me and say it was my fault for hitting a pothole

regardless, wanted to get the communites opinion
does this look easily fixed? i heard fixing a forged rim isnt as reliable as fixing a cast wheel
can that be bent back without damaging the paint? id assume not

Damn sorry to hear that man! Yeah there's definitely no way that could happen without you feeling it. On a side note I had a bent wheel that looked like that and they fixed it for 75 but they had to repaint it.

how could you not know if it's bent or not when you receive it? thats a pretty obvious bent and even if you didn't catch that, the wheel shop that installs / balances your wheel would know easily.

regardless, sucks to see that =( hope you get it taken care asap

it wasnt bent when i got them, my recent pictures show they were perfect, im just saying i never hit any big pot holes for this to happen, maybe i hit some small bumps here n there but nothing that should cause a bend like that

man sorry to see that. I had even considered buying some forgestar wheels before I saw my rohanas. Good luck with that though hopefully the vendor that you got it from is a good guy like mine was. One of my tires had a nasty rip on the inside wall, after I've had it on for about 2 months but it looked like that rip may have happened when the wheel was mounted bc there was a small scratch where that rip was I even told him that before when I forgot the wheel. Anyways I kept losing air and when I had the tire shop look at it we found that rip. Kris Becker (gotoracingonline) sent me a new tire for free no questions asked after I sent him the text about it. Hope you get it worked out man.

That's really unfortunate. Are you trying to have them fund the repairs or replace the wheel? If the latter, wouldn't you have to wait again for the wheel to be made? Either way good luck!

yep I will always vouch for that guy bought both my LFA reps and my Rohana RC10s from him

he upgraded my achilles tires to falken tires for free since I had to wait 5 months for my Rohanas
both sets I got free muteki locks and lugs
and a discounted price for TPMS's
