Damage looks to be more like steel structure deformation than an impact. An impact would have a telltale sign at the point of impact, the picture doesn't show any, off course, a close inspection is warranted anyway. The lip seem to come out from the inside of the rim and somewhat smooth circular line, no ragged edges.

If it was me, I would take all the tires out, put a temporary set of rims and have the manufacturer replace the set a faulty casts, as they would be from the same batch, so they can't be trusted.

Did a little more digging of why Forgestar are prone to cracking/bending easily. Seems like people with CTS, MB, and MK6 forum are having the same issue too.

I looked on their site, and they list the test results for their wheels. the 18" wheel they tested was 17.7lbs on the sheet, BUT it was tested for a load rating of 1200lbs, which is significantly under the minimum required for the bmw bolt pattern. It's actually the lowest I've ever seen to date. A wheel can be significantly lighter if it doesn't have to hold up to the standard load rating.

I'm assuming/hoping that their actually production 18" wheels were tested for a higher load rating around 1500lbs or more. There's no way the wheel passed a higher load rating at that weight though with the mesh design. I peaked at a few other wheels and they were 1500lbs, I'm sure they can clarify this. I don't want to make a big deal out of it, if all they did was post old testing information.

true. im going to give forgestar quality benifit of the doubt, there are also lots of ppl who track these wheels who stated they never had any issues
maybe i just hit something at the right angle that caused it. who knows. the vendor contacted forgestar today to see what can be done. awaiting a answer.

Looking at the picture you posted it looks like there is some impact marks on the tire at the point of impact as well as on the rim where the tire touches the inside edge of the rim. Hope everything works in your favor.

sucks to see OP, I own the F14 and from driving the 101 up and down to socal about 5 times round trip, got 3 bends in all of my wheels, held air, unnoticeable from the outside, felt the vibration.

But I hit some fatty potholes. Forgestars is the cast version of iForged, hence why their name is forgestar. Hopefully you get this fixed, if you were in socal, I'd tell you to go see Sam at Wheelflip, I'm headed there tomorrow haha

Wow you're quick to either have that tire replaced or filled back up. There's no way you didn't notice this. Your tire would have blown or deflated for this to happen. Sorry but I can bullsh1 t. No sympathy here.

I give benefit of the doubt, I once drove over a huge pot hole on my nissan with 17" alloys and the impact was STRONG, enough to bend both right rims, but even with such force, the rims never bent as bad as this one, sounds to me like these wheels are not strong enough.
