2007 IS250 AWD Vibration while in "Parked"
I have a 2007 IS AWD with about 70,000km on it and just noticed a few weeks ago slight vibration towards the rear of the car while in parked. I've seen some post about the car having vibrations while in "D" but not in "P". Has anyone come across this problem? It almost feels like someone is at the rear of the car and pushing on the sides of the car to make it sway back and fourth.

A Lowered AWD creates havoc based off all the stories everyone has. Thats why we've done alot to my wife's AWD IS but cannot pull the trigger on lowering it to complete the look. Sadly

No shaking or anything abnormal while driving, just vibrations when idle in gear. Generally people's front CV boot starts to leak/rip because of the angle the axles are forced to be in.
I've been driving my IS like this for over a year with no problems so far. I'm not slammed either, I'm probably just a little lower than stock height of RWD ISx50s. The lower you go, the worst the vibration is. The only "fix" is to not have the car any lower than 25" from floor to the fender. Good luck

My car is not lowered, pretty much stock as you can get. Took it to the dealership and they couldnt figure out whats wrong either. Was just hoping someone on here would have some insight on my issue.

I have a 2009 IS250 AWD and have been lowered for almost 2 years.
I went with H&R spring kit, a modest drop of 1" and 1-1/4".
From what I understand, there is no risk of permanent damage to the axle but the wobble and vibration is insane. At very low speeds, my rear end wobles side to side and major vibration.
I also experience the vibration on drive but stopped.
I have looked into various solutions with no luck.
I hate the look of the stock springs but I can't tolerate the poor ride.
I am seriously considering selling!
