can the factory headunit be replaced with aftermarket?
Hi guys,
I know the non nav systems have plug n play replacements such as Flyaudio or the chinese made ones, but what about guys who need to replace their defective oem navi? Will they work with these units as well?

Get an OEM replacement depending on what broke on your Navi. I think the retail was around $4k or something. But screens are cheaper if thats what went.
Search for aftermarket installs for the 2IS and you will find that few have attempted and completed but it isnt easy. The integration with the climate controls. It's do-able but I havent seen a DIY. There is no kit and no harness.

The goal is to replace with the Flyaudio or similar type unit for the OEM look. Linus has confirmed this install on another thread, so I think my question was answered.
