Default messed up the front

hey guy sad day today as i was driving on the freeway there was a blown tire front of me, which i couldnt avoid going over since the was other people in lanes beside me, at first i just heard a noise i thought it hit the bottom of the car, i kept driving until next exit, i got out and i see this half spoiler is gone bumper has crack, foglight fell inside the bumper, fender liner it torn up, i know ill get a front lip since im missing half of mine, but the bumper seems to have a bracket that holds the fog thats broken of, probably looking over a grand in damages, but what are my options here? also does anyone know any good shops around Houston area

Sorry tear hear man. You're looking at more than a thousand to replace and paint the bumper alone. Your insurance will take care of it and it'll be as good as new.

If you were thinking of puting on an aftermarket lip, this may be a good opportunity to do so.

thats terrible, 1000 dollar damage over hitting a blown tire. You can get the 09-10 bumper or the new 11-12 bumper.

Sorry to hear, I had to same thing happen to me and on the same side too lol. I was able to fix it myself just by taking off the front bumper, used some strong *** glue to glue the foglight tabs back together and buffed out the tire marks. My lip came off a bit but I was able to put it back in the tabs. Looks good as new lol

Unfortunately accidents do happen when we least expect it.

The important thing is you and your passengers are ok. Good luck with the repairs.

Now is a good time to shop for a front lip since you might end up bringing your car to a body shop. Saves you a bit on labor costs.

same thing happened to me... except i hit a hubcap. dented my hook and scratched up my bumper pretty bad..

Happened a month after I just repainted my bumper too! I bought a touch up paint pen and it helped.. Shouldnt cost more than 250 to repaint a front bumper though.

Why don't you look into a GFX lip instead.

I can't tell from the pic if you have starfire pearl or glacier frost but I can tell you now if you buy something already painted from anywhere chances are the color won't match perfectly especially if its SFP
