Default Newbee here and I could really use your help please

Hi everyone, just sold my 2005 G35 coupe and I am picking up a 2008 IS250 AWD tomorrow night from a private individual and I wanted to see what you guys thought and if anyone could run a carfax. Its Matador Red Mica with Ecru interior. It is a one owner with 16,700 miles on it and in excellant condition. Base model with premium package, all weather mats, trunk mat, cargo net and wheel locks. Paying 25000.00 for it. Car is showroom condition and never driven in winter. Would like your input. Thanks in advance

1. Is this a nice car and will I love it?
2. Is price okay, dont mind paying a little more for one that was taken care of.
3. Will it have homelink feature?
4. Goods and bads of car
5. Carfax anyone?

Anything else you guys can tell me would be a great help. Will be hanging on here quite a bit when I pick it up. But I havent bought it yet if I need to back out = )

1. As long as you don't mind the lack of power/speed, then yes, it should be a great car. You might also want to read up on the IS250 carbon build up problem. If those things bother you, you might want to look into an IS350.
2. It looks mostly reasonable to me, but I don't know the actual market value.
3. Yes, I believe that's a standard feature.
4. See #1. Pros IMO are that the car has a very high-quality interior; smooth, quiet, and solid ride; looks great; and will last a long time with minimal maintenance... for the most part.
5. Can't help you.

Thanks, not looking for power. I have a built mustang that takes care of my power needs = ) Just looking for a good all around car with style and decent mileage. Plus my buddy works at Lexus in the parts department. Cheap parts if I need them.

^^^what Hoovey said. Welcome to the club good luck w your purchase. I wouldn't jump the gun on the first car I look at unless its definitely everything I want at a good deal. Go test drive a few IS's 250s and 350s maybe even a F if its not out of ur budget

You havent ran a carfax on it yet? That and autocheck would be the first two things I would do no matter how great of a condition it appears to be. If you would like PM me the vin # and I will run the carfax for you, other than that welcome to cl!

My wife and I have been looking for about two months now and this is going to be my wifes car more then mine. We have looked at BMW 335, Infinity G35 And G37 sedans and Acura ILX and the TSX and the IS250. She likes the IS250 as it is all wheel drive. So we have been looking. Out of the 20 IS250 that we have looked at. This one looks like it has been taken the best care of. PM you Vroomin350

If you want a little more power, you could check out the IS350 AWD. I personally wish I test drove a 350 first.

Power really isnt an issue. I have other fun toys. Now if it was my only ride I would agree with you. There will be no mods done to this car. Dark tinted windows will be about the only add on. Remember its the wifes
