i just re installed my upper front grille today, after taking off the plastidip (because it peeled in a corner spot) and deciding to actually paint it this time. i also bought and installed some eyelid covers that i had painted as well. the lower grill still has the plastidip on it with a couple coats of spraypaint over it. the upper grille is all paint and no plastidip. can you tell the difference between the two?
and im still waiting on side skirts to be finished, dang painter is swamped with work

Looks good, but I think the NIA Eyelids are more aggressive.

Your grille looks better now compared when the slats were still chrome.

And yes you can tell the difference between the painted front grille and the plasti-dipped lower lower grille. The lower grille has a matte textured look.

Those eyelids look ok since they're pretty subtle. Yes, paint the lower grille to match. Give it to the painter now. Non matching isn't good and you'll regret it later when that chips. Trust me, I know. I have both grilles painted.
