Ed with Woodfield Lexus,
When we see failed clock springs there is usually a trouble code/check engine lamp with it. I'll ask around and let you know.

Ed with Woodfeld Lexus,
I talked with our D.S. not a common problem. Check grounds in the steering column.

Good Luck
Ed

thank you for repying..

Well I took the stering wheel out twice all looks like is connected very well..
the clock spring was change due air bag light was on, there was code for steering wheel air bag try to reset it did not work, also when i turn steering to left two full turn or to right, i would hear a click sound from something been loose, which it was the closck spring... before the volume for sterio /mode / steering shifter / cruise control were not working.

I replace the clock spring volume for sterio /mode / steering shifter / cruise control and the air bag light when away all work..

But the horn DID NOT WORK.

on the steering wheel the air bag connectors black and orage are connected
another the black ground cable on the steering wheel to air bag or switch is also connected...

I did not check if it was grounded or not......

*** I check this too ****
* the whole time I thought it was the horn but both horns look good, there both connected
* the fuse is good...
* the horn relay I dont were is located in the car which I dont't think thats the problem..
* horn switch from the air bag i press no sound...

please some one Help me... I am good with cars but this got me...

I am thinking it might be a ground a problem...

On most cars when you pull the steering wheel you should be able to manually beep the horn by disconnecting the wire and grounding it out. If the horn does not beep then your problem isnt in the steering wheel. If the horn does beep then the connection to the steering wheel or the metal flaps in the airbag for the horn switch is probably dirty or rusted

How did you test the horn?

Wire directly from the battery to the horn...
they beep....

If I disconnect the ground wire from the switch which is mounted to the air bag. I could just run a another ground wire to it and it should beep right?
