Default Guys that have changed out their headlights...

Im looking for a set of HID Headlights for an 07 is250. I want them to be completely complete, ready to install. With all the guys doing the swaps, i figure there may be a few sets out there for sale. Let me know what you have through PM or what not... I would like them to be in GREAT shape!

Are u lookin for the 2006-2010 or 2011-2012? Sewell has the 2012 lights that are direct plug and play u just missed the sale. If you want a set without the leds a lot of members will have them since a bunch of us upgraded to the 2012 only most of us bought the stripped set and swapped over our ballasts and bulbs.

what was "the sale". I put some code in on their site today and it said 1700. That was the loaded option w/ everything. I would love to do those but I do NOT want to pull my instrument panel and put tape over a spot so the light doesnt blink.

What was the sale on those lights though?

1700 for the loaded 1200 for the stripped. All u have to do is pull the fuse for the AFS out and no blinking light no black tape no pulling out your gauge cluster. There's a DIY thread on here. Ohiois350 helped me with mine. You could contact him for better help

I would pay 1200 but i just cant see spending 1700 on some headlights. I would go 1200 but that would be about my max. What can I expect to pay for some 06-10 complete headlights?

Id feel way more comfortable pulling the fuse, too!

If u would pay 1200 then go for the 2012 the swap isn't that hard. For the older headlights if its stripped I wouldn't pay more than 300 if its loaded 500 max. It would also depend on the condition like the lense for example and if there's any broken clips, tabs etc. I'm sure u can score a decent set. Or just keep urs and buy aftermarket hids. There's a few threads on here where members have retrofitted projectors off tsx's and s2ks and so on.

Remember, I bought it wrecked and prior to the purchase at the auction, the broken headlights, grill, and bumper were all removed. I talked to the dealership and is supposed to have the HID lights. So as it sits, i have nothing as far as headlights. no ballast, bulbs, housing, nothing.

Ahh gotcha. Yeah 1800 is a bit pricey. Even 1200. I guess ur best bet is seeing if Fresh still has his for sale or any other member. Check the classifieds section.

So the stripped 2012 headlights will need everything my current 2007 headlights have to work properly? And also how hard is it to swap everything to the new headlights? One last thing can anyone post the link to the stripped 2012 headlights from Sewell.

I have an 06 IS250 with aftermarket HIDs from xenondepot. Will I need the loaded or stripped set?

if you don't have stock HID, that mean you need to buy the loaded lights from Sewell
