Default Should I?

An interesting proposition was given to me this weekend. My gf's dad wants to sell his 2007 BMW 750LI with 65k fully loaded. He is willing to give it to me for 20k other wise 26 his selling it for.

I just got my 350 this past Feburary
Question is.... SHOULD I sell my 350 and get the 750LI.....

How much can i get for my 350 you guys think?
94k, 3rd party warranty for another 2.5 yrs or 31k, im lowered on JIC coils, f sport intake, GFX rear and front from sewell, i have the luxury pkg with navi.

You won't be getting anything for the coils, best bet would be put the stock suspension back on and sell those.
If it can be CPOed...def do it. If not, I'd pass. After the warranty is up Bimmers go to poop.

to be honest that proposition is nothing except headache. used 7 series bimmers are probably the worst cars you can get used. there is a reason why they are so dirt cheap used. you spend 20k now, but expect BIG maintenance bills to come. DON'T GO NEAR THAT THING

first:
Bimmer = car made by BMW
Beemer = motorcycle made by BMW
Beamer = something that requires penicilin to kill....? dunno....

But ultimately he is giving you good advice. 7 series is a great car if you can afford the upkeep. Figure old school maint at 60k will run you about $2000 and that's if you can find someone that will change the transmission fluid for you (BMW won't) and every 30k figure about $750. And dont forget about resell... in 5 years that car will be selling for $5000.

I had 5 Bimmers (four 3series and one 7 series) before my current IS350. Nothing is like them. period. But you had better have a deep wallet (or plan of selling it for a huge loss before 100,000 miles)

Just one mans opinion....

dont do it! your 350 is much more reliable than a *BMW* especially the 7 series. i'd take a 100k mile lexus over a 60k+ mile bmw anyday.

No thanks. The amount you put into maintenance you could've gotten extra goodies on your 350.
