will a mark levenson setup( radio/cdc nav) from a 2006-2008 IS 250 fit and work in a 2006-2008 IS 250 that has just the nav without ML setup. will everything plug and play? and can i use the stock amp with that or do i have to change to the ML amp too? i guess the connectors might be different?

im asking cause they have one for sale on ebay, and since it plays dvd, why buy another china unit like the fly audio when i might be able to just upgrade to the ML.

2nd question: can i just add the ml dvd player to my stock non ML nav?

I don't think it would. Aren't there more speakers in a ML setup?

I think I read about this on the forum before somewhere...
It wont' work since the speakers, amp etc. are different. You should do a search on the forum then you can get the answer you seek.

The wiring harness and interior panels are different. Going to have to take the car apart to be able to do this which may not be worth the time/labor unless you want t and willing to spend the money. Might as well get a vehicle which has ML built in.

As i remember. The head unit is plug and play but sound not as good as ML PACKAGE DUE TO LESS speaker
