Default Lease expiring, need replacement fender liner!

Have been really busy these last couple months and haven't logged into CL so I missed out on a lot of the craziness here . I have a leased 09 IS350 in TP that the lease will expire at the end of this year, originally with the intent to buy it outright once the lease expires. I'm not too interested in buying it back now because I'm bored of the silver color and other things. My fender liner is chewed up from being lowered so low, so I need to replace them when I return the car. I will also need to swap my 2011 bumper conversion back to 2009 but will take care of that at a later time (anybody interested?). I've found some aftermarket fender liners online for $33 each side but $80 for shipping? Just wondering have anybody used these and if anybody knows where is a cheap place to buy them. Before the vultures come out and attack me for my parts, I may just end up getting a IS350 F-Sport in blue so I can just put everything back in. I'll even take a look at the GS350 F-Sport to see how I like it, then the vultures can come out and rake in the parts. I know the 2013 IS is still speculation but I really want a IS350 F-Sport in blue. If I wait too long, Lexus may stop making them and will make it harder to find. Decisions.. decisions..

I can't help you with the fender liner, but I can reassure you that lexus will not run out of IS350 F-sport. They are making a huge profit on these models and its not limited production. If anything, waiting longer till the 3rd gen IS comes out will drastically lower the price of the 2IS.

Hey look on www.theautopartsshop.com I got 2 front liners for my ISF from there. They were half the price of the oem ones and exactly the same.

I do not recommend aftermarket parts, ESPECIALLY fender liners because of the improper fit. Obviosuly, OEM parts are expensive so the next best thing is to buy recycled. I use www.car-part.com to purchase parts. You can vary results by many criteria, mainly distance.

GOOD aftermarket part makers also try to improve on the OEM, so avoiding aftermarket parts all together is not a good position to take. Avoid the cheap, poorly manufactured ones or generic parts retrofitted to the application like the plague though.

So your saying all aftermarket are junk. So those with aftermarket wheels, exhaust, intake and ect are junk? Haha sorry but something are made better then oem. For a piece of plastic that does the same job and fitment on point I don't see why I would pay $130 over $17. Especially something no one see.

I actually have aftermarket headlamps on my car lol
IMHO, DO NOT buy keystone, insignia, KSI brands...I've had to return many fender liners which further delayed the repair process(i work at a body shop)

To laobo79 so how is the fitment on the $17 fender liners that u bought? Is it as thickness and it has the insolated foam on that liner too? And how is the fitment on that? I saw your other posted about that liners you bought, but you never come back to comment about them? I need to buy one for my car too, but just to make sure before i buy it

Ohiois350 for $17 your not gonna get oem stuff lol. But it's a different material and doesn't have that insolation on the top. It's a one piece instead of two piece liner. But Calitrisc bought the same one and he said fitment on point. I won't be installing mine till it get closer too winter time.

My opinion would be it's alot cheaper to paint the car USB then to purchase a new vehicle? Besides you most likely have almost $20k in monthly payments already and im sure your buyout is cheaper then a new one.
