Default Yakima Roof Rack with Kayak*Pics*

Just got a Hobie Kayak and Yakima Q towers with Fairing, went fishing this morning. The roof rack looks great from the front especially with the fairing. The other great thing about it, removable of course!

Hobie 13'5 foot kayak.

Loading and unloading a little easier since the car is lower, still a two person job though, depending on how long the kayak is.

Once removed, the car goes back to Normal!

Love the car, the LX grills and the wheels. Something about a kayak strapped to the top of an IS just doesn't seem right though. Don't get me wrong, I'm an outdoorsman and love to boat and fish..... Just looks like a kayak fell from space and landed on your car. Lol.....

nice! i want to get a hard hull kayak someday, but worried how the racks would look, but they look nice on the car. Any issues with install? and do you mind me asking how much you paid for the whole rack system? I have a sea eagle inflatable fishing kayak, but eventually want to get a hard hull fishing kayak.

Also is it possible to load the kayak with just one person? I usually fish by myself. Thanks for any help.
