Advice for owner [how do I make sure airbag light repair done correctly?]
So I'm going to get my car back from getting it fixed for the air bag wiring harness and my question is what should I look for to make sure it's back to normal.
1. Make sure airbag light is off

Make sure they didn't damage the bezel surrounding the air vents and radio. My dealership did and ended up replacing it for me.

Hit another vehicle to ensure the airbag deploys correctly.

I know buddy, but I couldn't resist. Besides actually sourcing a wiring schematic and testing the leads yourself, I wouldn't know what to look for. Guess the "trust factor" is large on this one.

From what the dealer person told me it was the right side wiring harness that had to be replaced here are the numbers from the invoice:
82141-53F12 B3 wire, instrument panel
55670-53010 B2 register assy, instrument panel
OBD code
B1861 replaced instrument panel wire harness as per L-SB-0167 EL8054 4.5 T1 8B T2 71
Got it done at Cerritos Lexus
