I recently picked up a 06 is250 the guy told me he ran synthetic in it so I took it to my local Toyota dealership where I have my wife's 4runner serviced and they charged me $38.01 for a synthetic oil change, I will never change my own oil when I can get it done that cheap

I always have my oil changed at the dealership. I supply my own oil (Mobil1 5w20) and get charged less than $50 for the labor and filter.

I could easily change it myself, but I like to have the service records posted to Lexus's system, which may help when I sell my car (hopefully) next month.

Change oil @ home. This car is way too easy to pay someone else to do it.

I always get mine done at the dealership. For the money, I just can't pass up the free car wash, free refreshments and wifi, and the free upper back massage. Ohh, and there is an oil change too....
