Default 08 is350 46k miles - Good Price?

Hey guys, I am not completely incompetent when it comes to cars, but I don't know a lot about Lexus. I am attempting to convert from the Audi side because of terrible reliability issues. Anyway here is the car I am looking at purchasing asap. I am hoping some will chime in on how much these cars are going for PRIVATE PARTY. The asking price is 27k right now, but he is willing to work. Nowadays KBB is overpriced correct? What is the name of the guide I should be going by? Please let me know what you experts think I should battle for!

08 is350 white - 46 k miles with warranty still - eligible for extended warranty.

Lux package

Mark Levinson

Navigation / DVD

Back up camera

Rear Spoiler

IMO its Kinda steep for a private seller. I recently bought a CPO 08 IS350 with all those options and 50k miles for 24,900. That's from a So. Cal Lexus dealer.

Availability in ID vs CA is probably a lot different for the IS350.

With that said, 27K is a little high, max I would go is 26K.

Well I payed $25k with 44k on my 08 350 cpo from the dealer. It has luxury package no ML. If you live in an area where it snow like I do the rwd 350 is cheaper than the 250awd. At that price of $27k he'll be having a tough time to sell. If you have cash on hand 25k you can get away with it. He ain't gonna get that value even at a deanship.

The price does seem a bit high. Check out your local dealer to see what they offer

Agreed...a bit overpriced. But certain areas of the country can be like that. Especially here in SC where IS350s are hard to find.

If it helps, I got my '06 IS350 in April '11 with 31k miles for < $21k OTD. Purchased in NJ and drove back to SC.

I got my 06 IS350 for less than 18k. 75k miles.

With every option but the speed distance control. Has, Lux PAC, ML NAV, factory SAT radio, rear lip spoiler, G Spyders, park sensor, HL washers, 1 owner.

27 seems high, even for an 08

Seriously just go to kelly blue book, type in the features, and see what it pops out. I did it for you and here are the results -

Excellent condition (3% of all cars): $26,842
Very good (23% of all cars): $26,142
Good (54% of all cars): $25,442
Fair(18% of all cars): $23,242

Where did you get this idea that KBB is overpriced now?

best thing to do is to buy a car from out of state if it is limited in your area, I saw a 08 white/black IS350 with sport package and navi in ny about 6 months ago 28k miles sticker at 24k
