Default Anyone track there ISx50?

Thinking of doing a track day just to have some fun. Anyone have any experiences with there isx250 on the track? Will it damage the tranny if I drive around the track with the paddles down shifting? I just don't want to mess up the motor or transmission.
I drive an is250

Thanks

a search using the key words "track day" pulled up the following threads:

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...eir-isx50.html
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sus...rack-days.html

try a different combination of key words to help find what you're looking for.

But to save you from time- you can't damage the transmission with the paddles, it won't let you.

If you're on coilovers and are super low, lift your car up before going to the track, especially if you don't have sway bars. You will destroy your fenders if you don't.

If you don't wanna get passed by a Civic on track, don't track an IS250. LOL! I kid, I kid. But seriously, don't expect much.

Yes, there are several members that "track" their 2ISs...but both are 350s from what I've read.

Keys to a successful track day :

*Helmet
*Good functional brakes
*Good "track" tires
*Tire pressure guage
*Reviewing the track ahead of time
*Ask the regulars what to do

GL!

^Yeah, it's never cool to break down or worse...crash your DD. I built a boosted Civic on the side and had fun with it. 400whp @ 2000 lbs...5:1 power to weight ratio!
