Today I sprung for the Sirius radio on my 08 IS250... It works well, and my car had the option factory installed. I have the NAV screen, so that is how I operate it. I'm kind of disappointed in how the only way to advance channels is with the ****? Also, you have to hit text to get the name of the song/artist, then text to get back to the six presets? The 09 Lincoln MKS has a numeric keypad and other things that makes theirs work much better.

Am I missing out on something, or is this really all the features that Lexus gave us on the 08????

You cannot use the buttons on the wheel?

I used to have a Murano and LOVED how on the screen I could always see title and artist. I am on some Lexus Advisory Board and always complain about that.

Yes! I believe it is that way unfortunately, at least that's how the loaner IS i had once acted as far as I remember. I didn't really like the Sirius radio anyways, so I didn't play around with it much. Much rather use the ipod connection

The steering wheel buttons will advance from one preset station to the next as well as control volume, and also move you to the next set of 6 presets (there's 18 presets available for SAT) at least on the OEM XM kit.

I've never actually met anyone with the OEM sirius kit (which installs and connects in a completely different, much less clean, way- so functionality might be different too I guess)

The sirius kit is VERY rare compared to the XM one, and wasn't offered overly long.
