Default Just fixed my screen saving me $2700!!

Turned on the car on sunday and couldn't hit I agree

No touch at all.

2006 IS350 with 58k miles.

Followed this guide:

http://snapguide.com/guides/fix-the-...a-lexus-is350/

Here are pics I took along the way. I wish I would have taken video of the entire process, however it was 110 Degrees outside and I just wanted to get this thing out of the car and in the house.

Looked like a headache. Glad you were able to save lots of dough with the diy.

Did I spy a Kel-Tec or Ruger? Were you going to shoot it if it didn't work? lol

It IS a headache, I had to do this to my car as well and it recently stopped working again, luckily I had updated the nav disc and no longer have to press agree. Right now I turn on my AC through auto till I find some spare time.

Btw how did your gun help in this situation??

Was going to put a few rounds in it if it didnt work.

Just kidding, I actually didn't see it was in the pictures until I was uploading. I usually keep it in my car and bring it inside with me. Usually I also go right to the room and drop it on the nightstand. I guess I set it down and just went straight to work on putting it back together

I finished it up today and took the pics. I had actually done all the work yesterday and let the ink (conductive gel/ink) dry.

I think the navi on toyota/lexus cars are the best out there. I have yet to find one that works better. But with googlemaps on phones and stuff, all a navi screen is good for is watching DVDs these days. LOL

That was too funny! Made me laugh out loud in the office!

Great work on fixing your screen. You get props just for attempting to fix the problem!
