Default Bad news. Valve cover gasket has a leak

So I'm at 90k miles and just got my spark plugs changed. The mechanic showed me the old spark plugs and they were soaked with engine oil and he advised me I get my valve cover gasket replaced.

I tried looking on Sewell for it but no luck.

I need the valve cover gasket and 6 tube seals.

Guy is also charging $210 for labor.

Yeah, sorta common after those many miles. The VC gasket only needs to be replaced because you are replacing the tube seals.

Here's the part number for the IS250/350 (all years) spark plug tube gasket:
1119370010

You can find it on the Sewell website under "Replacement Parts">"Engine & Fuel">"Cylinder Head"

The valve cover gasket is listed as well. I believe this is for the IS250/350 (all years) as well:
1121331040 gasket, cylinder head (right side)
1121431020 gasket, cylinder head, No. 2 (left side)

I assume that you have an ISx50....but make sure these are the correct ones for your year/model. You also can email Darrell at Sewell to verify that these will fit your car.

Why are you replacing your plugs at 90K if you don't mind me asking? Did you wait extra long? Or are you doing them extra early?

Previous owner did nothing but oil changes so I ordered the Sewell 60k maintenance kit and got all that done

So are BOTH banks leaking through the tube seals or just one side?
