Default Replica parts from Bayson R

Has anyone bought any stuff from bayson r. I am debating on buying a roof spoiler, trunk spoiler, and front lip. And curious on fitment since they are replicas. Anyone know anyone or have any info for me???

My friend got me the Wald replica trunk spoiler for me on my birthday. Fitment wasn't good. Didn't sit flush on the trunk and the edges were off the trunk like a quarter inch. But he ordered a front lip for his Integra and it was good.

Thanks for the info. Chi123 did he keep the rep spoiler or just totally bag that idea. I wander if you could minor alter it and make it fairly worth it.

No, he bought it for me. Three issues with the spoiler. One is that it does sit flush on the trunk. If I run your hand across the top of the trunk where the spoiler meets it, it feels wavy and not flat. The edges stuck up so there was a 1/4" or less gap. Not noticeable on my car since it's black but up close you see it well. Lastly, the BaysonR one has a hole for the emblem. Other replicas and real one has an "emblem holder" on the spoiler.

Mine couldn't fit with minor mods to it. I noticed it left marks on my trunk when I test fitted it so I knew I should sand those areas of the spoiler off. Instead, I dremelled out the back side since the spoiler is hollow. That way, only the edges since on the trunk. The waviness and the edges got better and lost half the weight too. A very good body shop then recommended me to tape up my trunk with painters tape and put a blob of Bondo on the edge of the trunk. Then put the spoiler on it so the Bondo fills up the gaps and then trim the excess Bondo off. Sounded easy but it wasn't lol. So I figured to buy a better replica but then I saw the IS-F spoiler in person and decided to go with it instead of the Wald.

Sorry for long post lol, just don't buy fiberglass stuff from BaysonR. Polyurethane is flexible and easy to make it fit better. If you want a decent Wald replica spoiler, try this one.

I went to their shop a few days ago to pick up some parts. Nice and friendly people.I asked them about the Wald spoiler and they were completely honest about how it doesn't sit flush and they're trying to improve it.

Yeah when I bought mine I did speak to the rep via email he said the same and that some were a hit or a miss. I got lucky. Either way I was planning on molding it when i bought it and if Ure gonna mold it doesn't really matter.
