Default Ijdmtoy lights

I have the ijdmtoy interior lights, but i can't get them installed well. How did you guys get it so the leds do not sit up against the plastic piece.

Which ones did you get? The direct fit panels? If you got the direct fit panels, the housing is very tight between the plastic lens and back portion, the LED panel is held there by being wedged between the two.

yes they are the direct fitment , but how can i get it to stay up and away from the plastic piece because i dont like seeing each individual led. there is no really back portion to stick the adhesive side to so what are some other options.

You won't see the individual LED's during the night, you will only see the individual LED's when you turn on the light during the day since there is a lot of ambient lighting. Even if the light is further back, you'll still be able to see it during the day unfortunately.

At night, it's just a bright glow of light.

at night i seem them even more because they are right against the plastic piece. i had them set back more before and i didnt see the individiual leds, but since they dont stick well they would fall onto the plastic piece and then i would see each individual led and it looks bad

i have the exact same problem... created a thread for suggestions and didnt get much advice:

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...me-lights.html

The problem is that there really isnt much inside the dome light housing to stick the LED boards to... lights are super bright, but look bad when you look at them :/

I'm sorry guys, I wish I had a solution for you guys, but I don't in this case

It's the design of the LED's and the housing, we can't really fit a panel in there without it being close unfortunately, the housing size is just way too small. We're getting a new style of LED direct fit panel package in for the Lexus, I'll do a comparison with the one we have now and the new one to see if it's smaller, I'll let you guys know if it is smaller or not.
