Just got my 1st Lexus and joined CL
Hello everyone !
I've had my 1st Lexus for about a week now and came across this site. Looks like a great place to learn and talk all things Lexus. I bought a 2007 IS 350 and this looks like the correct place to post. Didn't see a new member forum or anything so hope I'm posting in the correct place.
I just signed up and wanted to say hello to everyone. I look forward to using the site, meeting and making some new friends and talking about cars.

First things first, polish your headlights and fogs (it will make the car look a lot newer). Second, best mod I've done thus far for the 350 was install the f-sport rear sway bar that can be purchased from Sewell Lexus with a Club Lexus discount. Another mod that a lot of guys do with your color car is paint the brake calipers and install "Lexus" caliper decals.
Happy modding and Welcome to the Club!

Thanks mjh ! That sounds like a great start for me. I will have to look for some pics with the calipers painted. Sounds like a good thing to do. I will check out the sway bar also.

Congrats on the new car and welcome to the IS community. You will find all the answers to your questions here on the forum. All you need to do is spend the time and use the search button. Everyone is really nice and would be more than happy to help you along the way.
One of my first mods was to work on the suspension. I got a set of springs (you can get coil overs if you have the extra $$$) and a set of front and rear sway bars. Then I got a front lip, intake and exhaust etc etc. Either way, just enjoy the ride and have fun modding your car. Good luck.
