Here it is...spikes on an IS! I still think they can hit your rear bumper but they'll be thinking twice I bet!
The covers are hanging there since this isn't a permanent mounting. If it was a permanent thing, the covers would be drilled out to make it look cleaner and eliminate the tow hook opening.

The spikes are 1-1/2 inches in diameter and made out of billet aluminum. The length of the spike "head" is 3 inches in long.

^ Well that's certainly different!!! haha never seen that kind of thing on a car.
I hate the look of it, but i'm sure it does make people think twice about getting too close to the bumper
