Default wheelflip

<---- updated with pics waiting to get them put on today, now 19x9.5 +25 from 19x9 +31 just bought some wheels and one of them is slightly bent. anyways i've been having trouble with the tire holding air and have taken it everywhere to get looked at. I called ssr and asked if they sold replacement barrels, they then referred me to wheelflip.com. I was just wondering if anyone has had any experience with this place and them changing/fixing wheels?

They have been recommended before in the SoCal section. Can't really find an entire thread, but if you search there are posts recommending their services.

Wright wheels has also been recommended...

I've heard nothing but good things about wheelflip. How about posting a pic of the bend?

They do good service.

But, my friend sent his wheels there to get fixed and they out-sourced his rims to another company.

Thanks for the input guys. Yeah the bend is weird you have to actually spin the wheel to see it. It's almost like a warp.

Do you know what part they out sourced it for?

Seouljahon, I think you misunderstood what Gemini1 said. To clarify, instead of wheelflip fixing the rim themselves, they took it to another company to have them fix it. "Out-sourcing" means that they used another company to perform the work for them.

Hope you can get your rim fixed.

wheelflip doesn't do so much work in-house as much as they send your wheels out to get whatever service the wheels need. think of them as "service brokers".

if you're not in a rush to get your wheels back, i'd recommend wheelflip. drop them off, and depending on how many wheels that need work, they'll them around in a few weeks.

yeah i got what he said... i dont know who the source is though so i guess i will just go through them. im just going to have a new barrel put on my wheel instead of having it straightened. ive already left it at velvet touch in sd and they couldnt find anything wrong with it.

Wheelflip leadtime will take forever. I left my wheels there to powder coat and it been 3 weeks already still not done yet.
So if leadtime is an issue for you wheelflip isn't the choice.
